New Beginnings

There is something magical about the new year starting. It’s a fresh start, a clean slate, a sense of opportunity and for many it is a time to set goals and challenges to complete within the year.

It is silly really. The date doesn’t change much more than the climate over a period of time.

What changes is the mindset. Everyone sort of takes a look in the mirror. Whether it be physical, financial, intellectual, etc. reflection is exciting and healthy!

Acknowledging the need for change is the first step to creating change. Change can feel scary, but it doesn’t have to. I am so excited to be going ‘facebook live’ in my group to share some goals I have for 2017! I want to help others create written goals for themselves and break them down into baby steps that are not intimidating. The more detailed and clearly organized the goal the simpler it will be to achieve it in a timely manner.

  1. There’s nothing like a new year to remind us of how important it is to make the best of this fresh start. This year I’m planning to start setting quarterly goals – an idea I got from Jenna Moreci’s YouTube videos – and I’m really hoping I can stick to them. I’m even planning to use my own blog for accountability.

      Thank you! Naptime is my quiet time and allows me to work without distraction!
      It has been interesting trying to juggle everything, but so far so good!

  4. I’m really sad that I missed this. I have set a lot of goals this year, but to me they are all reasonable. Things like read more or get out of the house once a day. I hope that this year is a good one!
