Hello and Welcome!
My name is Britney Barlow and I am a twenty-two-year-old wife and mommy. I am a work at home mom. My husband, Daniel, and I have two daughters, Selena and Brielle. Brielle is our spunky two-year-old and Selena is our sweet nine-month-old. They both keep me on my toes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Our little family lives in central, rural Missouri on a farm. We raise chickens and have a few horses. Daniel is the welding foreman for a steel shop near our home.
We just celebrated our three-year-anniversary and have been together for about eight years. We found each other and got attached WAY too young! 😉 It has been an awesome experience to be married to my best friend! We are learning so much about building relationships and I am so excited to share!
I fell in love with birth when I was young. My mom has photos of me listening to fetal heart tones through a fetoscope when I was five-years-old. Ever since I can remember I have loved babies and birth. I am so passionate about protecting women and their rights to birth the way they feel is safest for them and their baby. I studied pregnancy and birth independently during my junior and senior years in high school. I began my midwifery apprenticeship when I was seventeen-years-old. What an incredible journey that has been! I can’t even express the gratitude I have for the women that have opened their hearts and been the most vulnerable for my education. I am currently in another apprenticeship and loving it.
I just recently fell in love with essential oils. I feel compelled to educate people of these amazing, valuable tools for natural health. Essential oils are my so great! We are using them every day and finding new ways to use them all the time! I just started a VIP group on facebook to share my oily education. Please feel free to look it up and request to join: Young Living With Britney
or follow this link to find the group and join from there:
The group is brand new, but I am going to be sharing live videos, tutorials, recipes, and much more on natural wellness.
I am a night-thinker, hence the While the World Sleeps as my blog name. I tend to do most of my deep thinking when it is dark, quiet, and late into the night! The middle of the night is when I feel most inspired and connected to my soul. I really love staying up and reading or writing. I often will lie in bed cuddled up to my sleeping husband and just be. I will just listen to the pitter-patter of the rain or the sound of his heart thudding and think. I think about my purpose, my mission, my goals, etc.
I am looking so forward to getting to know you and sharing with you! It is my hope and dream that I can be a support and inspiration to you!
